We have recently finished speech therapy with Marianne for my daughter. Marianne has a very natural affinity with children and this was clear from the first time we met her. She quickly understood what my daughter is interested in and then devised games and activities accordingly so that it made the therapy fun. Marianne was also very good at communicating with me and explaining clearly what we needed to practice at home. She was patient with my daughter and so supportive of her. The improvement in my daughter’s speech was astounding and it is hard to put in to words the impact she has made on my daughter - she increased her confidence and opened up her world. My daughter is now in Reception and is really experiencing every aspect of school life thanks to Marianne. We are very grateful to her!

Excellent! I really enjoyed my first session - Marianne took the time to understand my aims and motivation. The first session was more of an assessment but she was able to get me started with some activities to practice, and she explain to me clearly the theory of the sounds and intonation patterns I need to work on. Marianne is nothing short of incredible. She is a very talented lady who is just the sweetest person along with it. Marianne worked with my little boy for around 8 months and brought him on leaps and bounds. Due to the fact my son has a speech disorder, we've made a fantastic start and without her, we would be no where near where we are today!
If you have a child that needs help with speech, Marianne is the lady you need. We travelled roughly a 3 hour round trip every week to be with Marianne and I will be forever grateful for what she has done for my little boy and us as a family in turn.

Post COVID lockdowns our son had significant speech and language difficulties. Marianne has been brilliant with him, both with his speech and language development. Her sessions with him are always fun, learning by winning 'this or that' and having a game and never any session the same. Also to enhance her work she gives us tasks to work with at home. These being relevant to the next session to enhance his learning experience. We are so glad we came to Marianne. She has helped our son so much and i highly recommend Marianne if your child has speech and language difficulties.

My daughter has got session with Marianne Cornish for several months now. She gave very precious advice that we try to apply at home. My daughter, who has some delay in speech because she is confused with 3 languages spoken daily at home, has made excellent progress, my wife and me are less worried about that now. Marianne is very easy going and my shy toddler quickly warmed to her and participated in activities. From the initial assessment, she highlighted the positives and areas that we could improve on.
